Absolutely awful. They are not allowing any parents in the room, even if your child is crying like crazy you won’t be allowed to go they won’t let you go and if you’re going, they will stop the treatment. For a pediatric practice its not child oriented at all everyone knows when the parents are there they can calm there kids. Please go somewhere else. Personally my kids just had a annual examination. But, all the kids that was there were crying. Im not going back and i think it something that has to be adress to the dental association.

The philosophy at this clinic is absolutely horrifying. My then 4 year old was extremely nervous to go to the dentist. She had a lots of decay and had some pain in one tooth, so I knew I had to find someone to fix it. I researched to try and find a clinic with gentle practices. When I came across their website I fell for all the talk about their priority being to give the child a good experience etc. So after prepping my daughter, she was ready, even enthusiastic! Well, what they didn't tell me was that they have a no-exceptions, strict policy of no parents in the room. Nobody mentions this when you make your appointment, or even when you are at the desk filling out forms. Only once she had her x-ray done was I handed a form and told that I would not be allowed in the room or they wouldn't treat her. I checked in with my daughter to make sure she would be okay and she said yes. Phew... When I reluctantly went to wait in the waiting room, I noticed the oddly loud music they had playing to muffle the sounds of the children crying... It was horrible you could hear crying, but couldn't tell if it was your child or not. Every kid that came out of their treatment had swollen red eyes from crying. Anyway, as soon as I heard a cry that sounded like my daughter I got up and she was done. No exaggeration, she screamed her head off crying for over an hour. I had/have never heard her cry like this in her entire life. Turns out she held in her cry through the treatment, but as soon as she was done she couldn't hold back. She had a root canal and cap done. My daughter told me after that when they put the ring on her tooth, it hurt and she tried to tell them but they told her not to speak or the sugar bugs would get in.... so she had to endure pain through her entire treatment. The policy of no parents during treatment is debatable by itself, but if you want to enforce such a policy you better be willing to listen to your child patient when they have pain! If this was an adult of course they would have stopped and made sure the patient was comfortable. I caution anyone on choosing this clinic... There are 3 dentists who work there. My daughter had Maria Freijé, but I don't believe any of them are any better, they all follow a ridiculous policy and Dr.Trottier Nolet is the supposed pediatric specialist who owns the clinic. The energy in their waiting room was unreal. The muffled cries, loud music and miserable children. My heart breaks thinking about it!
